Additional Info:Mr. Campbell served with the Cameron Highlanders in WWI. He was taken prisoner by the Germans at St. Valery in France, but escaped while marching to a POW camp in Germany. He made his way to the coast, where he acquired a boat and sailed back to England. For this feat, he was awarded the Military Medal.
Father was Angus Campbell (Tipperton), Milestone, Lochboisdale.
Mother was Rachel MacIntyre. (Information gratefully submitted by Norma MacLean, Neil's daughter)
