Name:Mr. Stephen MacIntyre
Isle of South Uist
Place of death:Peacefully at Home
Date of funeral:15/03/2017
Funeral Location:St. Peter's RC Church, Daliburgh
Presider:Fr. Wilhelm Kursawa; Fr. Donald MacKay
Occupation:Grass Cutter
Additional Info:Inserted by the Family: “Stephen was a hard working young man. He started his grass cutting business 15 years ago, he got to know so many people from young to old and from Eriskey to Benbecula. Stephen was the kind of person to sit and have a coffee with an older customer just to keep them company because they lived alone. That's the kind hearted man Stephen was. He will be sorely missed. May he rest in the peace of Christ.”

From the St. Peter’s Newsletter dated 19 March 2017: “The family of the late Stephen MacIntyre extend their sincere thanks to neighbours, friends and all of the Community for the tremendous outpouring of love and support during their recent loss of Stephen. Those who visited the house, sent Mass cards and flowers, and brought in food as well as everyone who kindly attended the Reception, Requiem Mass and the Committal at the Cemetery. Special thanks to Fr. Wilhelm, Neil MacIntyre, those who dug the grave, the soloist and the choir. Holy Mass will be offered for all of your intentions.”
