Alistair is buried on top of his brother Malcolm (Record 5067). His name is inscripted on the stone with his sister Flora (Record 274).
Alistair was one of many in the islands who took part in the "salvaging" of the cargo from the wrecked vessel, "The Politician" in Eriskay. His story was told in the Weekly Scotsman in May of 1963. You can read about this by clicking on the link below.
