| Additional Info: | Miss MacLeod's entire family died from TB. She took up residence with her cousin Fergus and his 2 brothers. Peggy was a keen crofter and looked after the house and was a great asset to the community. She also delivered milk to her neighbours, including Dr. Robertson, who was the local GP from 1956 - 1981. A true character of the Islands. May she rest in peace. |
