| Additional Info: | Morag Morrison died peacefully on Christmas Eve in Sacred Heart House, Daliburgh. She was a cleaner in Daliburgh School for many years until her retirement. In his homily, Fr. McAuley said "Morag died peacefully on Christmas Eve at the age of 96 in “Taigh Cridhe Uile Naomh” which had been her home for the last twelve years. We thank the staff for their care and dedication in looking after Morag. There was very much a bond between them. She was a part of the family that is “Sacred Heart House”. There is a beautiful parallel between the beginning of life, with the infant and the end of life, with the elderly. There is a dependency, a nursing, a great need for others there. In more than name, it can indeed, be a second childhood. Each of us here today is here for a reason , we all have our own memories of Morag which we hold dear." Morag was buried next to her husband, Donald Allan Morrison. May she rest in peace. |
