Additional Info:MRs. MacIntyre's burial record states that as a child, she contracted the terrible fever of the 1890's that claimed the lives of many in South Uist and Eriskay. It states that she was looked after by the then priest of Daliburgh, Fr. George Rigg (Record 173) and made a full rcovery. The record also states that "this same fever claimed the life of Fr. Rigg, a saintly angelic man, in 1897".
